Group Canine Training Classes - 4 Levels 

The Barkers University offers unique Group Canine Training Classes to start your dog or puppy on the right track. Group training programs start every week. Our four-month training program consists of 4 levels of training, thereby providing results that will exceed your expectations. Your dog and you will progress from level 1 to 4; classes are held in our two large air-conditioned training rooms. We offer weekend and evening classes. The training program consists of 2-week classes.

Class Description and Hours Group Classes Orientation (Made by Appointment)

  • Intro to Praise
  • Intro to 3 times and a Freebie
  • Intro to Commands
  • Intro to the climb

 Level 1 Group Class (Saturday 9am & Tuesday 6pm)

  • Sit
  • Down
  • Come when called
  • Getting on the Climb
  • Staying on the Climb

 

Level 2 Group Class (Saturday 10am & Tuesday 7pm)

  • Sit & Down while owner walks around
  • Get on the Climb
  • Heels on Preferred going clockwise and counter clockwise
  • Recall from the end of leash
  • Automatic sit when owner comes to halt
  • Sit stay at the end of the leash

Level 3 Group Class (Saturday 11am & Wednesday 6pm)

  • Stays on the climb with distractions
  • Recall to a sit front Heels on preferred side with pace changes and halts Sit in motion
  • Sit and Down stays at the end of a 16 or 26 foot flexie
  • Sit from a down

Level 4 Group Class (Saturday 12pm & Wednesday 7pm)

  • Recall to a sit frontStays on the climb with distractions
  • Heels on preferred side with pace changes and halts
  • Sit in motion
  • Sit and Down stays at the end of a 16 or 26 foot flexie
